Wedding photographer Patrick Montgomery...

is happy to present a sample storybook and some thoughts about wedding photography (Scroll down).
Please note that the images are very low-resolution for super-quick display.

Weddings are not about photography!

However, the more you are prepared to "think outside the box", the more you will love your wedding photographs.
In Patrick's view your wedding day starts from the time you wake up to the moment you can't dance any longer.
All weddings are the same but all weddings are different. What is meant by this is that the key elements, the structure, the purpose are the same but the details, the people, the emotions and the atmosphere make every wedding unique. Patrick works hard to capture the precious "moments" during any or all parts of your wedding:

  • The Bride getting ready - putting on makeup, fussing with the veil, looking gorgeous in "The" Wedding Dress to die for
  • The Ceremony (if allowed) including the signing, the rings and other details
  • The First Kiss
  • The wedding Dress
  • Parents and all other pre-arranged "must-have" group shots
  • The bridesmaids and Groomsmen
  • All the details including Bridal bouquet and other wedding flowers, the wedding rings, the cake, the bridal cars etc. etc.
  • Afternoon Reception including all the fun the guests and the newly married couple are having
  • The Cake cutting - who cares about all those calories!
  • The newly-weds - the love and romantic connection between the couple
  • Evening Reception including first dance including the table decorations, candles and other special details you've incorporated into your perfect day
Patrick doesn't just "record" the event but more so captures the joy, the fun the excitement - these are the wonderful things that make your wedding photographs special to you

What style of photography do you like? Contemporary, traditional, arty, reportage/photojournalistic? Patrick would be happy to hear your ideas

    • Group shots or "must haves" are always listed but during the rest of the day Patrick will "borrow" the couple a few minutes here and a few minutes there so that you feel as though your wedding photography is enjoyable and "painless" and never feel that the photography is an ordeal

    • You don't "have" to purchase an album from us - we're happy to provide a "pictures only" package
    • Patrick takes unlimited pictures during the wedding and at all times tries to capture moments that will mean something special to you
    • All this at a fair price considering the amount of time that goes into the wedding photography, the design of your Storybook, the pre-wedding shoot, the recce, the web-gallery uploading etc etc.
